ROBOTBERRYby Lightberry

Terms of Service

These terms govern the purchase of products from Robotberry, a storefront operated by Lightberry Inc. Please read them carefully — they include important details about high-value orders, warranty, and returns.

1. Who We Are

Robotberry is a storefront operated by Lightberry Inc, a Delaware corporation with its office and warehouse in San Francisco, California (“Robotberry,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). We are an authorized United States distributor of Unitree Robotics robots and sell genuine units together with our own interactive software-and-hardware upgrade packages. By accessing this website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, requesting a quote, or completing a purchase, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use this website or purchase from us.

3. Products, Authenticity & Authorized Distribution

Every robot we sell is a genuine Unitree Robotics product sourced through authorized channels and shipped from within the United States. We do not sell counterfeit, grey-market, or refurbished units unless a listing explicitly says so.

  • Documentation of authorized distribution and source of goods is available on request for institutional and high-value orders.
  • Each unit is serial-tracked from our inventory to your delivery so provenance can be verified.
  • Product images, specifications, and AI-capability descriptions are provided in good faith but may vary slightly from the delivered configuration. We may correct errors and update information at any time.

4. Pricing & Payment

All prices are in US dollars and are subject to change until an order is confirmed. You agree to pay the price in effect at the time your order is accepted, plus any applicable taxes and shipping or freight charges shown at checkout or on your quote.

  • Standard orders are charged through our secure payment processor at checkout.
  • For high-value, institutional, or configured orders, we may instead issue a formal quote and require payment by bank wire, with the balance due before the unit ships.
  • Because of the value of these products, we may perform identity and fraud-prevention checks before accepting an order, and may request verification for large or unusual transactions.

5. Orders & Order Acceptance

Your order is an offer to purchase. A contract is formed only when we confirm acceptance of your order (or, for quoted orders, when we countersign the quote and receive your payment). We may refuse, limit, or cancel any order — including after it is placed — for reasons such as suspected fraud, pricing errors, stock unavailability, or export-eligibility concerns. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we will refund it in full.

6. Pre-Orders, Reservations & Deposits

Some models are offered on a pre-order or reservation basis. Any deposit you pay to reserve a unit is fully refundable at any time before that unit enters fulfillment or ships, simply by contacting us. Quoted lead times and ship windows are good-faith estimates, not guarantees, and may change with manufacturer supply. We will keep you informed of material changes to your build window.

7. Cancellations & Changes

You may cancel a standard order for a full refund any time before it ships. Once a unit has shipped, the Returns section below applies. Built-to-order or configured units may not be cancellable once production or configuration has begun, or may be subject to costs we have already incurred; we will tell you what applies to your specific order before you commit. Pre-order deposits follow the section above.

8. Shipping & Delivery

We ship from within the United States. Because of the size, weight, and value of these products, units may ship by LTL freight or by parcel carrier; we select the carrier and method to ensure safe delivery. Shipping costs and estimated transit times are shown at checkout or on your quote.

  • Title and risk of loss pass to you upon delivery to the carrier.
  • For freight deliveries, please inspect the shipment before signing and note any visible damage on the carrier’s delivery receipt. Failure to note damage at delivery may limit our ability to file a carrier claim on your behalf.
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, or events beyond our reasonable control.

9. Inspection & Nonconforming Goods

Please inspect your order promptly on receipt. If an item arrives defective, damaged, or different from what you ordered, contact us in writing right away and we will make it right — at our discretion by repair, replacement, or refund. Reporting issues quickly lets us coordinate with the carrier or Unitree Robotics while a claim is still possible.

10. Returns & Refunds

Because these are high-value, sensitive robotic systems, our return policy reflects industry practice for this category:

  • Before shipment: cancel for a full refund (see Cancellations).
  • Unopened units: you may request a return within 14 days of delivery if the unit is unused and in its original, sealed factory packaging with all accessories and documentation. Approved returns are subject to a restocking fee of up to 20% to cover inspection and repackaging; original shipping and freight charges are non-refundable.
  • Opened or powered-on units: complete robotic systems that have been powered on, unsealed, used, or configured are generally not returnable, and are instead covered by the warranty and support process below.
  • Accessories & parts: may be returned only if unused and in original packaging, subject to inspection.

All returns require prior authorization — contact us before sending anything back. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method after we receive and inspect the item, typically within 10 business days.

11. Warranty & After-Sales Support

Hardware warranty coverage for the robots themselves is provided by the manufacturer, Unitree Robotics, under its own terms, durations, and limitations. Robotberry is your authorized US point of contact: we help you register coverage, file claims, and coordinate repair or replacement, and we provide US-based support throughout.

  • Final warranty decisions — approval, repair versus replacement, and turnaround — rest with Unitree Robotics.
  • The interactive software-and-hardware upgrade packages that Robotberry installs are supported and warranted by us directly.
  • Warranty does not cover misuse, accidents or collisions, unauthorized modification or disassembly, liquid or environmental damage, use of non-approved parts, or normal wear.
  • To open a claim we may ask for your order number, serial number, and photos or video of the issue.

12. Software, Firmware & AI Behavior

Our robots and interactive packages rely on software, firmware, and AI models that are continually improving — including voice interaction, perception, autonomy, and response accuracy. These features are powerful but are not guaranteed to be error-free, and updates may change, add, limit, or modify behavior over time. Such changes are part of normal product evolution and do not by themselves constitute a defect.

13. Safe Use, Eligibility & Export Compliance

These products are intended for adults and for trained, responsible operation in line with the manufacturer’s safety guidance. They are not toys and are not intended for children. You agree to comply with all applicable laws, including US export-control and sanctions laws; we may decline orders or shipments that we believe would violate them.

14. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — text, graphics, logos, images, and software — is owned by Lightberry Inc, Unitree Robotics, or our content suppliers and is protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from it without our prior written permission.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lightberry Inc shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of this website or any product. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lightberry Inc and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the website, your operation of the products, or your violation of these Terms.

17. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from them will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, or through binding arbitration where the parties agree, and you consent to that jurisdiction.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and your continued use of the website or placement of new orders after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
